Jason Ruta has been WSPT’s Director of Physical Therapy since 2008. A graduate of Hofstra University in 1998, Jason went on to receive his Masters in Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2001. He joined WSPT in 2005 as a part time therapist, and became a full time therapist a year later. He went on to become the Assistant Director of Physical Therapy while treating patients out of the 2500 St. Raymonds Office. In 2008 Jason became the Director of Physical Therapy at WSPT, and has held that position since. He specializes in manual therapy for knee and shoulder injuries, as well as treatment of the lumbar spine.
Jason enjoys working out daily, and outdoors activities including snowboarding, kayaking, and bike riding. During his free time Jason enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid sports fan and is a loyal supporter of the Yankees and Giants.
